#ThrowbackThursday
We aren’t usually the ones partake in the rumor mill, but Rihanna and Chris Brown are some of our favorite artists. It’s been said that it is no coincidence that Chris and Rihanna both happen to be in St. Tropez, France. The paparazzi have had a tough time trying to catch these two together. Apparently, Chris has separated from Karrueche and his fiery flames for Rihanna really never ended.
It’s really an interesting situation to be in because we are never in support of couples getting physical with one another, but can you really force two people apart? Of course, in the end, it doesn’t matter what anyone in the media has to say. These two are going to do exactly what they want. Let’s just hope the decision doesn’t end badly for either party.
Chris Brown Fortune
We haven’t gotten a chance to sit down and listen to Chris Brown’s NEW album Fortune, but the reviews on the album haven’t been similar. Each reviewer offers different perspectives, as expected.
One Washington Post reviewer made this blunt statement concerning the album, “The album veers from hip-hop flavored party jams to electronic, pulsating tracks meant for laser light shows to more emotional fare. The album suffers from Brown’s cocky rap-talk and the computerized noises that drown out today’s dance songs.”
Instead of just going with this reviewer we searched for another. A Billboard.com reviewer said, “ultimately designed to please the hardcore fans who’ve stuck by him since 2009’s Grammy incident, “Fortune” is a fully adult R&B record that will likely churn out at least two or three more singles to Brown’s growing repertoire.”
Based on these reviews alone, how can we make a solid judgment? Okay, okay, we’re going to listen to it tonight…
#RATEDNEXT: Today is RATED NEXT Wednesday, and we have chosen a slightly NEW face to the world of Hip-Hop that gained some serious traction through a track with R&B/Pop favorite Chris Brown. Kirko Bangz is a fairly new face with an eerily familiar sound. His voice instantly reminds us of a certain YMCMB member. We will just let you decide…
